Safe Surgery 2015: Action Needed
At the March Patient Safety Symposium we provided participants with information regarding the Safe Surgery 2015: South Carolina four month call series that will beginning Tuesday, April 26, to guide hospitals through checklist implementation as well as options for monitoring your hospital’s progress in terms of checklist use.
If the checklist is effectively implemented at your facility it has the potential to dramatically improve patient outcomes, teamwork and communication. This will be one of the most important initiatives that you will undertake within your operating rooms and OR teams. Its positive impact will be felt across your entire hospital. SCHA and the Safe Surgery 2015 team look forward to working with you on achieving an effective implementation.
Before we start our work on April 26, we would like to have a list of each participating hospital’s lead Safe Surgery 2015: South Carolina implementation team and a primary contact whom we can contact regarding updates for this initiative. Please send this to Kimberly Hubbard, email@example.com, at your earliest convenience.
Once we have an updated contact list from your hospital we will send you and your team more details surrounding the login information for the call series.
