During the recent SCHA Executive Leadership Summit, the South Carolina Hospital Association Political Action Committee (HAPAC) hosted its first HAPAC recognition luncheon, which was attended by hospital leaders from across the state. The luncheon created the opportunity to recognize several leaders whose support of HAPAC and its goals is exceptional.
Most Valuable PAC player awards for 2013 were presented to Chuck Beaman, CEO, Palmetto Health, and Paul Johnson, CEO, Greenville Memorial Hospital, for their outstanding leadership and commitment to ensuring that South Carolina hospitals have a meaningful voice on legislative issues affecting communities and patients.
