Celebrating Zero Harm

We are accepting applications for the 2017 Zero Harm Awards through July 7

Developing and sustaining health care systems that are safe and highly reliable is at the forefront as we journey to improve our delivery of patient care across South Carolina. Public expectations are high as we begin to tackle the Triple Aim focus of better health, better healthcare, and lower costs. Many of our member hospitals are implementing robust evidence-based, practices and are actively participating in initiatives that are positively impacting the safety and quality of care within their facilities. The South Carolina Hospital Association (SCHA) feels strongly that celebrating these successes is a vital and meaningful step in recognizing our collective commitment to highly reliable healthcare. Our Certified Zero Harm Award program recognizes member hospitals that have achieved a sustained level of zero patient harm for extended periods of months consecutively.

Applications for 2017 are now closed. Keep a look out for next year's application in July 2018.

It is with great pleasure and pride that SCHA can publicly recognize our work and celebrate your successes with you. We look forward to receiving your application and the celebration to come. If you have further questions, please contact Aunyika Moonan at amoonan@scha.org or 803.744.3534.
