After The Joint Commission (TJC) leaves your organization…a change in TJC policy

TJC has made a policy change which is effective immediately. TJC is now allowing organizations in the CSR program to have their CSR Consultant help prepare corrective action plans (ESC) for current clients who ask for assistance during the post survey period, once the organization has accepted the findings on their survey report.

JCR Consultants cannot assist with any challenges to the accreditation decision or findings of the Joint Commission which includes clarifications, preparation of letters to challenge RFI’s or reports, documents and presentations to be used in connection with any review hearing or appeals. While assistance of your CSR Consultant may be helpful, it is not required nor does it provide an automatic guarantee in the accreditation process.

The purpose of this change is to enhance the services provided to you while protecting the integrity of the accreditation process and continuing to provide value added service to your organization.

Many of our organizations have just been surveyed or due for survey in 2015; some or all may indeed want to take advantage of this service.
