This year's Arts and Science of Health Promotion Conference will connect over 600 health professionals from a multitude of disciplines across the country to discuss health programs and environments related to the workplace, clinical, educational and community.
This year's conference theme is “Making Healthy Choices the Easiest Choices: Increasing Awareness, Enhancing Motivation, Building Skills, and Creating Supportive Environments.” Conference sessions will address how to develop effective wellness programs and will include presentations by leaders from Mayo Clinic, Truman Medical Centers, and Kaiser Permanente. Presentations will include panel discussions, research reports, and program descriptions. There are six two-day post-conference training seminars available, one of which focuses on Integrating Wellness into Hospital Systems.
The conference will be held April 11-15, 2012 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego California.
