Self Regional Healthcare
The plan, called Self Cares, has a 90 percent employee participation rate. To take part in the plan, employees are asked to sign a commitment to wellness. They complete a personal wellness profile, which includes questions about sleep, stress levels, exercise, smoking and drinking, to start getting a baseline of their wellness. Self Regional also does some screening, whiich includes blood pressure, body mass index (BMI) and a chemistry profile measuring gluclose, triglycerides and other indicators. Employees are asked to identify a primary care physician to encourage emergency room visits.

The hospital has been recognized numerous times for its ability to create and sustain an engaged workplace culture. A Governor's Quality Award winner and four-time Gallup Great Workplace award winner.
