SC Society of Healthcare Diversity Professionals (SHDP)

The SC Society of Healthcare Diversity Professionals (SHDP) is a personal membership group created to promote the roles and functions of diversity professionals who work for South Carolina health care providers.

Goals and objectives include:

• Providing a forum to discuss diversity issues and their impact on the health care workforce and health disparities;
• Enhancing and supporting networking and educational opportunities for diversity professionals
• Facilitating the involvement of its members in SCHA's public advocacy process;
• Supporting and enhancing effective diversity management and cultural and linguistic competence among Association members.
