SC Society of Managed Care Professionals (SMCP)

SC Society of Managed Care Professionals (SMCP) is a personal membership group whose mission is to promote the roles and functions of managed care professionals working for South Carolina health care providers

Goals and objectives include:

• providing a forum on health care issues and their impact on managed care
• promoting effective communications among providers, regulatory and legislative agencies, and purchasers of care
• enhancing and supporting networking and educational opportunities for managed care professionals
• facilitating the involvement of its members in SCHA's public advocacy process
