SC Healthcare Recruiters and Human Resource Membership Groups Merge
As hospitals and health systems look more broadly at workforce development, talent acquisition is becoming more closely linked with human resources as a strategy to streamline operations and contain costs. Centralizing the full life cycle of human resource functions has become a critical strategy to optimize the vast healthcare workforce.
As South Carolina’s hospitals continue to integrate staffing and personnel activities, we are following their lead by combining the SC Healthcare Human Resources Association (SCHHRA) and the SC Recruiters Network (SCHRN) into one group focused on workforce development and human resources. This will allow for greater collaboration and a broader perspective on all the complex issues that come with recruitment, employee relations and managing human resources. And, by merging these two groups, we can eliminate duplicative services, be respectful of the time and commitment of the membership and close the loop on vital workforce discussions.
