Data Update: Train for Success!
Over the last year, the Working Well team has collected data on hospital participation in the project, including assessments, site visits, and participation in trainings both in person and online. Analysis of the data available on training reveals that there is a significant association between attending trainings and reassessing and grade improvement. Read More.

Working Well Has New Maps!
On January 1, 2012 NC Prevention Parnters and the SC Hospital Association launched the creation of new maps for hospitals involved in the Working Well initiative. These new maps are auto generated from completed assessments within WorkHealthy AmericaSM and show hospitals where they stand in relation to other Working Well committed facilities. Where are you? Working Well Announces Its Newest Center of Excellence
Working Well, a three-year grant funded initiative that aims to improve worksite wellness through policy, system, and environment change related to tobacco, nutrition, and physical activity, announced eight hospitals from across the state of South Carolina as Centers of Excellence. We'd now like to proudly announce the addition of Georgetown Hospital System to that list. 22nd Annual Arts and Science of Health Promotion Conference
This year's Arts and Science of Health Promotion Conference will connect over 600 health professionals from a multitude of disciplines across the country to discuss health programs and environments related to the workplace, clinical, educational and community. Read More.
Notes from the Road: Roper St. Francis Healthcare
Roper St. Francis Healthcare (RSFH), spread through the Charleston area, includes Roper Hospital, Bon Secours St. Francis, and Mt. Pleasant Hospital. Wellness Works, a homegrown RSFH Wellness program supported by Bravo Wellness data management tool, will be a hybrid results/participation based program as of August 2011. Strong executive leadership support is evident at all locations. CEO’s and Vice Presidents are often seen participating in fitness events modeling healthy behaviors. Employees of the system are jumping on board with near a 70% participation rate in year one. Read More.
