SC Hospitals Innovating Care and Wellness

Over the past few years, our state's hospitals have demonstrated what we can achieve when we work together. We know that collaboration excels performance. Instead of recreating the wheel, we are collecting best practices and innovations from you, our members.

View the innovations submitted by your hospitals. We need for each hospital to share any and all practices from which other hospitals can learn. These should not be limited to the clnical area, but also include innovative practices in community outreach and wellness, the business office, procurement, human resources, leadership development and more.

Does your hospital have an innovation not in the list? Submit and share it.

Medical Waste Contracts

As announced earlier, SCHA Solutions is pleased to announce the new contract term for the Medical Waste Management and Treatment Program.  One of the provisions of the new medical waste contract is a significant price reduction in medical waste services.  The price reductions range from 20% to 30% depending on the number of waste streams handled by Stericycle.  If your facility has not executed and returned the new contract, please do so in order to receive the reduced pricing.  Executed contracts should be returned to Tommy Cockrell or Carmen Goulet.  For questions, please contact Tommy at 803.744.3510 or Carmen at 803.744.3504.
