SCHA Names 2012 Board of Trustees

The South Carolina Hospital Association is proud to announce its 2012 Board of Trustees.  Charles D. Beaman Jr., chief executive officer of Palmetto Health in Columbia, moves up from chairman-elect to assume the role of chairman of the board. Rich D’Alberto, FACHE, chief executive officer of Laurens County Health Care System in Laurens, was elected chairman-elect. David Dunlap, FACHE, chief executive officer of Roper St. Francis Healthcare will serve as immediate past chairman. 

New trustees elected to serve three-year terms include:

Jim Pfeiffer, FACHE, chief executive officer, Self Regional Healthcare
Paul Johnson, president, Greenville Memorial Hospital
Traci Young Cooper, MD, trustee, Palmetto Health
Ed Norris, trustee, Georgetown Hospital System

Mark Nantz, FACHE, chief executive officer, Bon Secours St. Francis Health System, and Donnie Weeks, FACHE, chief executive officer, KershawHealth were each elected to fill a two-year unexpired term on the SCHA Board.
