SCHA is proud to once again offer its Summer Scholars program! This program is open to rising junior and senior nursing students living outside of the state of South Carolina. This program provides the opportunity to work 6-10 weeks in a South Carolina hospital, during the summer months, to gain valuable clinical experience, as well as a chance to experience the Carolina lifestyle. Candidates for this highly competitive program are provided free housing and given a paid position to cover expenses. This program is designed to bring nursing students from other states into South Carolina in the early stages of their career search to establish a long term relationship that will lead to a long term employee.
