Education

Now, more than ever, hospital boards are in pivotal positions to positively impact the delivery and quality of health services and the health status of their communities. No longer can hospitals or board members take reactive or passive positions on quality, transparency, covering the uninsured, health reform, health policy, etc. Rather, all hospital board members should be knowledgeable and engaged in the health care system, asking questions and ensuring that hospitals continue to seek excellence and improved quality of care.
