SC Society of Managed Care Professionals (SMCP) is a personal membership group organized under the umbrella of the South Carolina Hospital Association. The mission of the SMCP is to promote the roles and functions of managed care professionals working for South Carolina health care providers.
SMCP goals and objectives include:
- providing a forum on health care issues and their impact on managed care;
- promoting effective communications among providers, regulatory and legislative agencies, and purchasers of care;
- enhancing and supporting networking and educational opportunities for managed care professionals; and
- facilitating the involvement of its members in SCHA’s public advocacy process (visit www.schalead.org)
