The purpose of the Society is to:
- educate, develop and maintain the professional status of environmental services through continuous training and motivation;
- encourage and assist members to develop knowledge and increase their competence in the healthcare environmental services profession; and
- to provide a mechanism for the interchange of ideas among members through regular meetings, conferences and educational programs.
